Abstract
Septorin reduces the growth of susceptible wheat cultivar ''Etoile de Choisy'' seedlings. On mitochondria isolated from the same cultivar, the septorin induces changes in respiratory activities similar to the 2,4-dinitrophenol effects. The conditions of in vitro production of septorin and the purification method are described.
