Abstract

Six spontaneous mutants and 3 UV-induced mutants, derived from the dermatophyte Nannizzia incurvata Stockd. (=Microsporum gypseum). were assigned to linkage group I on the basis of data obtained from tetrad analysis. The implication of this study in regard to the taxonomy of the Microsporum gypseum complex is discussed.
