Abstract
Cytology in [human] malignant melanoma of the skin is a useful method, which alone yields in many cases enough diagnostic information for a therapeutic approach. It is of special importance in cases with marked anisocytosis of cells and with large, sometimes polynuclear cells and cells with melanotic pigment. In cases with middle sized apigmented cells of epitheloid appearance it should be always completed by biopsy, which in these cases predominates over cytology. Combination of both methods brings a more substantial elucidation of diagnosis. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
