Abstract
A method was developed for the determination of fat in unhomogenized milk; it is based on an indirect measurement of the total amount of light scattered by the fat globules present. A theory was presented according to which the slope of the standard curve corresponding to maximum scattering can be found. The wave-length causing maximum scattering was found by a scanning procedure. The experimental results agreed with the theory.
