Abstract
Significant differences in the temperature coefficients of the component zero−field splittings from multiply oriented aromatic triplet states in single crystals have been observed in several systems and are reported in detail for 1,2;5,6−dibenzanthracene in p−terphenyl. The utility of these temperature coefficients in assigning triples of splittings associated with the distinct triplet species is demonstrated. Keywords
