Abstract
The author describes 2 instances of surgical exploration and treatment of human tail, which he believes is important in relieving tethered cord syndrome. Simple excision of human tail or other suspicious abnormalities may prevent the diagnosis and important early treatment of tethered cord syndrome. Keywords
