Abstract
Recent experimental findings at NAL and at the CERN ISR in connection with large-transversemomentum phenomena are analyzed. It is observed that these data can be understood in the framework of Fermi's statistical model. A new scaling variable is proposed. Further experiments are suggested. Keywords
