Abstract
Synthesis is described of trans -9,10-dihydroxy-9,10-dihydro-3-methylcholanthrene and trans -9,10-dihydroxy- anti -7,8-epoxy-7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-3-methylcholanthrene, implicated as the proximate and ultimate carcinogenic metabolites, respectively, of the potent carcinogen 3-methylcholanthrene.This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
