Abstract
1. Some preliminary observations on the carbonic anhydrase activity of the hen's oviduct are reported.2. It is suggested that the carbonic anhydrase activity of the uterine epithelium is higher than that of the remaining oviducal tissues, and that this activity may play a part in shell secretion.This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
