Abstract
Nurses have traditionally been seen as working within defined clinical areas, using specified and specialized knowledge and skills to provide care and promote healing. However, in recent years it has been generally recognized and accepted that the role of the nurse is much broader and that nurses have an important role as health educators.Keywords
