Abstract
The dielectric constant is calculated in the Anderson model for a dilute magnetic alloy. The dependence of the plasma frequency and relaxation time on the concentration of impurities is determined. The calculated absorption coefficient is in reasonable quantitative agreement with experiments. Keywords
