Abstract
Two cases are reported which demonstrate the practicality of using a tap water enema and low kilovoltage exposures as a means of confirming the presence of a submucous lipoma of the colon. This combination of contrast and exposure magnifies the small radiation absorption differences of fat and water density tissue. Once identified as a lipoma, more confident and conservative management can be planned. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
