Abstract
Koiter's well-known theory of initial post-buckling behavior of structures has been widely uised in the analysis of shells, plates, frames, columns, rings, and shallow arches. Recently, Dym applied it to nonshallow circular arches subjected to a constant-directional pressure, which he analyzed on the basis of approximate nonlinear equations. Keywords
