Abstract
In ferromagnetic systems, plots of the isothermal remanent magnetization Mr(H) versus the demagnetization remanence Md(H) have been interpreted as indicators of interactions. Although they may qualitatively indicate interactions, they are difficult to quantify. As a first step to quantify these plots the Bean model developed for superconductors is used. This model is shown to qualitatively describe the Md(H) vs Mr(H) plots for a ferromagnetic film where large demagnetization fields are present. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
