Abstract
1. 1. A series of cases of dengue fever occurring in Baghdad, Iraq, are described—they are thought to be the first recorded in this locality. 2. 2. The diagnosis from other fevers was made by the finding of a characteristic temperature course, the presence of typical symptoms, and a leucopenia in the blood. 3. 3. Other causes of fever were as far as possible excluded. 4. 4. Adenitis and bronchitis were found to be prominent features. Keywords
