Abstract
The major factors leading to the increased interest in behavioral toxicology are summarized. Important regulations and guidelines, which are in effect now or are being formulated, are presented in light of their impact on the new discipline. Some issues facing industrial toxicologists are discussed and related to current industry actions and recommendations.Keywords
