A New Anopheline from the Solomon Islands with Notes on Its Biology

Abstract
Anopheles koliensis, from Guadalcanal, Solomon Is., is described, and its relationship to A. punctulatus and A. farauti discussed. Studies on habits of adults lead to the conclusion that it is of primary importance in disease transmission.
