Abstract
An improved DTA furnace and sample cell have been used for accurate DTA measurements and clear polarizing microscopic photographs. The photographs, DTA and TTA curves were obtained simultaneously at different heating or cooling rates for solid-smectic, smectic-cholesteric and cholesteric-isotropic liquid phase transitions in cholesteryl myristate. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
