Abstract
A new procedure is presented for the identification of discrete linear multivariable systems. Using Lyapunov's direct method the asymptotic stability of the overall system is established when the inputs are sufficiently general. It is shown that the procedure may also be extended for the identification of a certain class of nonlinear systems.Keywords
