Abstract
The performance of a direct sequence (DS)-code division multiple access (CDMA) link with limited feedback in the presence of random interferers is analyzed in this paper. We evaluate the performance of a reduced-rank (RR) signature optimization scheme with a linear minimum mean squared error (MMSE) receiver, and subsequently account for the feedback quantization error. The performance is compared with a random vector quantization scheme for signature selection, which gives an upper bound on large system performance. Keywords
