The Blood Pressure in Midwifery

Abstract
An analysis of 40 cases, recommending that the blood pressure be followed during midwifery. Normally there is a rise in blood pressure as labor develops. Barbiturates causing hypotension should be used only in the early stages of labor, hypotension must be avoided in the 3d stage. Incipient shock may be recognized early by following the blood pressure.
