Abstract
Tissue fractionation studies were made of livers of rats 1 day, 8 days, and 28 days after they received a single intravenou injection of 0.5 / [mu]c of polymeric plutonium, Pu239 (IV). The subcellular distribution of the plutonium was found to be nearly identical with the distribution of the acid phosphatase, indicating concentration of Pu in the lysosomal fraction. Keywords
