Particle multiplicities at thep¯−pcollider and the hydrodynamical model

Abstract
The energy dependence of particle multiplicities up to collider energies can be explained by the hydrodynamical model, once the realistic conditions for its applicability are taken into account. A decrease of inelasticity between CERN ISR and collider energies is observed.
