Abstract
The objective of the study was to determine the role of FinnishBursaphelenchus mucronatusas a possible pathogen in Scots pine,Pinus sylvestris, under Finnish ambient weather conditions. Small seedlings and young field grown trees were used as inoculation targets. The results suggested the nematode being of minor importance as a tree pathogen in Finland. Keywords
