Abstract
The nuclear shell model has been applied to calculate the positive-parity energy levels of . The problem of four interacting particles in the shell has been solved for low-lying states using a technique which is particularly suited to automatic computation. The resulting energy levels are in quite good agreement with the experimental results for a reasonable internucleon potential.
