Computer Programs for Calculating Meta-Analysis Statistics

Abstract

Computer programs to calculate meta-analysis statistics are described. The programs provide several statistics for the meta-analysis of Pearson correlation coefficients and of d effect sizes. Observed distributions of correlation coefficients and effect sizes are corrected for sampling error, as well as, optionally, for other statistical artifacts. Additional programs compute correlation coefficients and d statistics from other summary statistics.
