Abstract
A simple method for the removal of linear tattoos is described, where tissue destruction is limited to tattooed skin and the resulting necrosis does not extend more than 1 mm into non-tattooed skin. The epidermis overlying tattooed skin can easily be scraped after heat separation. Table salt is rubbed into and left on the area where epidermis has been removed. The achieved necrosis appears only in the heat-treated skin and heals with an acceptable scar. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
