Abstract
After reviewing the potential of photogrammetry for measuring human anatomy we present here the motivation for reproducing in digital form the geometry of shoe lasts of deformed feet of war veterans. The process makes use of a new form of central perspective shadow moiré contourography called pericontourography to produce digital ‘replicas’ of the lasts from which they may be reproduced via a cylindrical coordinate version of polyhedral numerically controlled machining. Keywords
