Abstract
Attention is brought to the fact that previous investigators have neglected to take into account reflection and mass in calculating the rise in temp. due to insolation. Neglecting photosynthesis and transpira-tion, a rise of 4.4[degree]C. is sufficient to dissipate by thermal emission, the energy normally incident on a leaf in a 5 mile an hour wind. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
