Abstract
1. In anaesthetized cats under artificial ventilation, a few milligrams of pentobarbitone sodium injected into the cerebral ventricles produced a pronounced fall in arterial blood pressure, which was central in origin and resulted from inhibition of vasomotor tone.Keywords
