Reconstruction of Hypopharynx and Cervical Esophagus with Pectoralis Major Island Myocutaneous Flap

Abstract
Our technique and experience with 14 hypopharynxcervical esophagus reconstructions using the pectoralis major island myocutaneous flap are presented. Reconstruction is accomplished safely and expeditiously in two stages with this versatile flap. It has become our method of choice for pharyngoesophageal reconstruction.
