Abstract
Binomial predictions provided a better description than the Poisson law of fluctuating unitary inhibitory postsynaptic potentials evoked in the goldfish Mauthner cell by impulses in presynaptic interneurons. The number of terminal boutons established on this target cell by each horseradish peroxidase-filled interneuron corresponded to the value of the binomial parameter n.This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
