Abstract
Displacement of chloroplasts in plant cells is considered as a regulatory mechanism of photosynthesis. It is triggered by the intensity and the direction of light, absorbed in a yellow pigment as in many other plant-light responses or in exceptional cases in phytochrome. The reaction chain of the responses is reported. Keywords
