Abstract
Descr. of N. australis Van C, recognized as a composite sp., is emen3ed. N. distractus is separated from the original material. Both, from Ictiobus sp. of the Tallabatchie R. in Mississippi, are figured. N. strigosus is descr. from Ictiobus bubalus of Reelfoot L., Tennessee, and Catostomus commersonnii and Moxostoma aureolum of Wisconsin. Significance of the extreme dimorphism of the 2 lemnisci in the same individual in some spp. of Neo-echinorhynchus is discussed. A table is presented showing geographical and host distr. of the 7 spp. of Neoechinorhynchus characteristic of catostomid fishes of N. America. Keywords
