Abstract
Barbara Le Rose is Director of an ESEA Title IV-C Project in Racine, Wisconsin which is in its third year of developing programming and curriculum for gifted elementary children. Among other remarkable aspects of this program are the research and scholarship which have gone into its rationale, using a General System Approach and resulting in ten working papers by Ms Le Rose, Linda King and Sally Greenwood under the title of "The Lighthouse Design: A Curriculum for Thinking". To give our readers the flavor of this material we reproduce a few excerpts and tables. While supplies last, the whole set is available from Barbara LeRose, Racine Public Schools, 2326 Mohr Ave. Racine, WI, 53405. Please enclose shipping label and $15 for printing, postage and handling costs. Keywords
