Abstract
In connection with the reduction of noise in electrical machines, extensive investigations of te vibration behaviour ofthe main members of electrical machine are required. Detailed information about the nature of the frequency spectrum of the stator, the type of mode shapes associated with the various resonance frequencies and the effect of the frame is of much interest. Keywords
