Abstract
Acute hemolytic anemia with hemoglobinuria, uremia and anasarca developed in a patient who had taken 460 grains of sulfanilamide over a period of 60 hrs. for the treatment of type VIII pneumococcic pneumonia. A complete recovery was made.Keywords
