Abstract
Characteristic quantum features in atomic collisions are analyzed in the eikonal approximations. Numerical illustrations are given for the (, He) system, using a set of model potentials which provide a reasonable description of the interaction between the ground states of and He in the quasiadiabatic (diabatic) limit.
