Somatosensory Evoked Potentials from Stimulation of Cutaneous Femoris Lateralis Nerve and Their Application in Meralgia Paresthetica

Abstract
A new technique for recording somatosensory evoked potentials after stimulation of the cutaneous femoris lateralis nerve is described. It proved useful in 2 patients where meralgia paresthetica was suspected. The use of this relatively easy technique is suggested in the diagnosis of meralgia paresthetica.
