Abstract
Segmententsprechende Muskelparesen sind beim Zoster häufig zu finden. Klinisch fallen sie am meisten auf in den Segmenten C 3 bis C 8, in den unteren thorakalen und den lumbalen Segmenten. Es handelt sich um neurogene (radikulitische) Lähmungen. In selteneren Fällen können auch myositische Prozesse wirksam werden. Die Prognose solcher Lähmungen ist im allgemeinen günstig. Segmental muscle pareses, due to radiculitis, are a frequent finding in herpes zoster. They are most common in segments C3 to C8, and the lower thoracic and lumbar segments. In some instances there may be myositic changes. In general the prognosis of this type of paralysis is good. Clínicamente recaen casi siempre en los segmentos C3 a C8, en los torácicos inferiores y en los lumbares. Se trata de una parálisis neurógena (radiculítica). En casos más raros pueden activar también procesos miosíticos. El pronóstico de tales parálisis es bueno en general.
