Abstract
A new linear time-invariant FIR filter which can be programmed to synthetise any fractional sample delay with Lagrange interpolation is presented. An analytic closed-form expression for the coefficients of such an FIR filter is derived. Computer verification is provided for the N = 4 case.Keywords
