Abstract
The excitation energies and the (,) cross sections of the giant Gamow-Teller resonance as well as the isobaric analog state in are calculated. Similar to the results in electron scattering, the theoretical spin-flip strength overestimates the experimental one appreciably. The excitation energies of the spin-dependent excitations and the isobaric analog resonance can only be explained simultaneously if the effects of the "dynamical theory of collective states" and of the one-pion- and one-—exchange potential are taken into account.
