Abstract
A metal chamber is so constructed and used as to permit the execution of open bacteriol. technique in a sterile atmosphere. The chamber has a base measuring 60 X 80 cm and has sloping sides. The front panel is equipped with a glass window and arm holes for admitting the hands through rubber sleeves; the side panels each have closely fitting slide doors. The confined air is sterilized by contact with the flame of the burner and by condensation of the water-vapor particles on the side walls. Compressed filtered air is admitted. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
