Abstract
Tritium labelled digitoxin and digoxin were administered intragastrically to rats provided with thoracic lymph duct fistulas. Approximately 4% of the label was recovered in the lymph collected during 48 h. It was concluded that lymph duct drainage is ineffective in the elimination of orally administered digitoxin and digoxin. Keywords
