ÜBER DEN ZUSAMMENHANG VON AMINOSÄURE– UND ALKALOIDGEHALT BEI DERNARCISSUS JONQUILLAHYBRIDE „GOLDEN SCEPTRE”

Abstract
Es wird über den Zusammenhang zwischen Alkaloidbiosynthese und Aminosäuregehalt in der Narcissus jonquilla Hybride „Golden sceptre” im Verlauf einer Vegetationsperiode berichtet. Tyrosin wird als die wichtigste biogenetische Vorstufe der Alkaloide angesehen. Darüberhinaus wird angenommen, daß bei den Amaryllidaceen die Zwiebel der Hauptsyntheseort ist, da das Maximum an Alkaloiden während der Ruheperiode festzustellen ist. The author has observed a clear relationship between the contents of alkaloids and free amino acids during the growing period in the hybrides on cultivar Narcissus jonquilla „Golden Sceptre”. Tyrosin is believed to be the most important primary precursor of alkaloids. Furthermore the author assumes that the bulbs represent the main site of synthesis of alkaloids because the content is highest during the resting stage.
