We report a patient with long-standing polymorphic light eruption (PLE) who developed a photocontact allergy to mexenone and several contact allergies. The occurrence of multiple contact and photocontact allergies in PLE and the possible relationship of such allergies to the pathogenesis of PLE are discussed. Keywords
