Abstract
A mouse in vitro allograft system was used to check for synergism among thymus-derived cells during cell-mediated immune responses. Synergistic interactions occurred between thymus and thymus-derived lymphocytes. The majority of precursors of cytotoxic effector cells were peripheral thymus-derived cells; thymocytes acted mainly as amplifier cells. Keywords
