Positive Muon Knight Shift in Metallic Pd

Abstract
The Knight shift of positive muons in metallic Pd has been measured at room temperature by muon spin rotation method. The observed value is -223±80 ppm, and the result is discussed in terms of conduction electron spin polarization in transition metals.Keywords
