Abstract
The energy dependence of the positronium formation cross section has been measured for the gases He, Ar, H2 and CH4. This has been accomplished by passing a beam of slow positrons through a scattering chamber and detecting the positronium formed by counting the triple coincidences from the 3 gamma decay of ortho-positronium.Keywords
