Abstract
Various versions of the 450°C isotherm of the Zn–Fe–Al ternary phase diagram in the open literature are critically evaluated and a number of revisions are made in the present paper. Based on recent experimental data, the boundaries of the liquid phase were more accurately positioned, and the limiting tie lines of the δ-l two phase region were shifted to 0·10 and 0·13% AI,from 0·07 and 0·11%AI, respectively, as given in the original version.
